Revive — Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance, Eligibility, and Accounts #
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute an agreement between you and Revive (“Revive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Revive iOS application and its related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By downloading, accessing, or using Revive, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your country if higher, to use Revive. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian, where permitted by applicable law.
1.2 Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account information reasonably up to date, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may request deletion of your account through the account-deletion feature in the app or by contacting reviveappsupport@gmail.com.
2. The Service, AI-Generated Content, and No Medical Advice #
Revive allows you to record or write about your dreams and receive AI-generated interpretations, images, videos, recurring-pattern insights, and lucid-dreaming guidance. The Service may also provide a personal archive of your dreams and related content.
Features may change, be added, or be discontinued. Some features may require a paid subscription.
2.1 AI-Generated Content
Revive uses automated systems and third-party AI services to generate certain content. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or similar to content generated for other users.
Dream interpretation is subjective and speculative. Interpretations and insights are not established facts about you, your future, or your life, and they should not be treated as predictions or guarantees.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or sharing it with others.
2.2 No Medical or Professional Advice

Revive is designed for personal reflection and entertainment. It does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
If your dreams or sleep patterns cause distress or interfere with your wellbeing, consider speaking with a qualified professional.
If you are experiencing an emergency or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis-support service.
2.3 Lucid-Dreaming Guidance
Revive may provide general information or suggestions relating to lucid dreaming and dream awareness.
Results vary between individuals. You are responsible for deciding whether a suggested practice is appropriate for you. Stop any practice that disrupts your sleep, causes distress, or negatively affects your wellbeing.
3. Subscriptions and Billing #
Revive may offer auto-renewable subscriptions for premium features, including expanded dream interpretations, image and video generation, and additional dream archive capacity.
The features, subscription duration, and applicable price for each plan are displayed in the app before you confirm your purchase.
3.1 Plans and Prices
Subscriptions may be offered on weekly, monthly, annual, or other billing cycles, as displayed in the app.
Prices may vary by region and may include applicable taxes. The price and billing period presented by Apple at the time of purchase will apply.
3.2 Payment
Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase, subject to Apple's payment and subscription processes.
Revive does not directly collect your full payment card details for App Store purchases.
3.3 Automatic Renewal
Unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with Apple's subscription management process, your subscription automatically renews for the applicable period.
Apple may charge your account within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You must turn off automatic renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid renewal charges, subject to Apple's applicable terms.
3.4 Managing or Cancelling a Subscription
How to Cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).
Note: Deleting the Revive app or your Revive account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. You must cancel the subscription separately through Apple.
3.5 Free Trials and Promotional Offers
If Revive offers a free trial or promotional subscription, the applicable duration, eligibility requirements, and renewal terms will be displayed before you subscribe.
Unless the offer states otherwise, a subscription will renew at the disclosed price after the trial or promotional period unless you cancel it before renewal in accordance with Apple's requirements.
Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable under Apple's terms.
3.6 Refunds
App Store purchases and subscription payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies and applicable law.
Revive does not directly issue refunds for payments processed by Apple.
3.7 Price Changes
Subscription prices may change from time to time. We will provide notice and obtain any required consent in accordance with Apple's requirements and applicable law.
You may cancel your subscription before a new price takes effect, where applicable.
4. Your Content and Acceptable Use #
4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of the dream descriptions, text, notes, recordings, and other materials you submit to Revive (“Your Content”), subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
You grant Revive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display Your Content, and to transmit it to service providers acting on our behalf, solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service to you.
This license ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except to the extent continued processing or retention is necessary for backup recovery, legal compliance, security, or other purposes permitted by applicable law, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4.2 AI-Generated Content
Subject to these Terms, applicable law, and any restrictions associated with your subscription plan, you may use the interpretations, images, videos, and other outputs generated for you for personal purposes and, where your plan permits, commercial purposes.
AI-generated outputs may not be unique and may resemble outputs generated for other users. We do not guarantee that any output qualifies for copyright protection or that you will obtain exclusive rights to it.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of generated content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.
4.3 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, exploitative, or infringing on another person's rights.
- Attempt to generate illegal content or content that violates the Service's safety restrictions or applicable age-rating requirements.
- Use the Service to abuse, threaten, impersonate, or unlawfully target real people.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, or interfere with the Service, except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.
- Circumvent subscription requirements, usage limits, authentication controls, or security measures.
- Use the Service or its outputs to develop a competing AI product or train AI models, except where expressly authorized by us or permitted by applicable law.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the Service without authorization.
- Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
4.4 Content Moderation and Enforcement
We may review, filter, refuse, or remove content and may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, threaten the security of the Service, or create legal or safety risks.
Where appropriate and required by law, we will provide notice or an opportunity to appeal a restriction.
5. Ownership, Termination, Disclaimers, and Liability #
5.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Revive app, including its design, branding, software, code, interface, and original content, is owned by Revive or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app for its intended purposes.
Except as expressly permitted by us or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit our intellectual property.
5.2 Termination
You may stop using Revive and request deletion of your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, create a security or legal risk, or if suspension or termination is required by law.
Where appropriate and required by applicable law, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain effective, including applicable provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution.
5.3 Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, reliable, unique, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a consumer right or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
5.4 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Revive and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to Revive for the Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or US$50.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by applicable law, including where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
5.5 Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Revive harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising directly from Your Content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your material breach of these Terms.
Nothing in this section requires you to indemnify us for losses caused by our own unlawful conduct or where such an obligation is prohibited by applicable law.
6. Governing Law, Apple Terms, Changes, and Contact #
6.1 Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Revive is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that country, subject to any mandatory rights you may have to bring claims in your country or place of residence.
6.2 Apple as a Third-Party Beneficiary
These Terms are between you and Revive, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for Revive or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no responsibility for addressing claims relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, regulatory compliance claims, and intellectual property claims.
If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty that cannot be excluded, you may notify Apple as described in Apple's applicable terms. Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, in accordance with its policies and applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation concerning the app.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable provisions against you.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo and are not identified on a United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties, to the extent required by applicable law.
You must also comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Service, including terms imposed by your wireless carrier or internet provider.
6.3 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, our business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the app or by email where appropriate and required by law.
The updated Terms will state their effective date. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before applying material changes to your continued use of the Service.
6.4 General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and Revive concerning your use of the Service, subject to any additional terms presented for specific features or purchases.
